We might just be more alike than you think… « SanityFound’s Rambling’s

Thank you SanityFound, its taken me a while but I’ve worked this incoming link thing out…well, to answer this is not as easy as one might think, it involves a whole lot of soul baring… and i never wuz any good with lists…

A. List 5-10 things of commonality that you have in common with the human race and/or nature.

I’m fairly tired of the small portion of the human race
who deem it neccesary to denigitrate and inculcate fear while they
infiltrate as much hate as they can into their fellow man
i prefer to open my life like a flower to those who are good
like rain in the desert i’ll soak up your love
and return unto you a cave of safety
with a she-wolf at the door
holding a prickly cactus in each paw
with great care you’ll make your way past the spines
and find
the soft centre of me

B. List 5-10 things that you may have in common with the human race and/or nature.

i prefer the silence of the tree’s
to the screeching of humans
the soft ripple of a gentle spring
to the crass crashing of mechanical things
through the sight of a bird on the wing
i can see insignificant me
through the majestic eagles eyes
gravity bound being
pretending to fly in the sea
i’m a dolphin look at me

i’m a beached whale now
too tired to move
when i’m in the bush
i’m as quiet as can be
but still clumsy and noisy
like a herd of zebra fighting
over tea
sometimes i really dislike
the human part of me
