writers BLOCK
stuck like a ROCK
my soul in HOCK
watching the
time go by
i’m totally STUMPED
thoughts clogging like cholestrol CLUMPED
time for a memory DUMP
time for a
coffee
maybe next WEEK
my words will LEAK
out of this tough as TEAK
empty head of mine
too much going on
where do I START
have a HEART
even a brain FART
will do but now, about that
coffee…

sometimes a writer’s block
is a traff jam…a bottle neck …a snarl!
one has too much to say…
but words are stuck up…syllable-to-syllable thats all!!!

Good work scribe, another blogger told me to stop posting my poetry on my site because of copyright issues.
but i have some old stuff of mine there anyway, can’t stem the torrent when it comes.
- i have nowhere else to put it, and copyright protects us in so many ways. if someone wants to steal it, so be it, but the wheels turns… thank you for popping in and your kind words

I have kind of embraced a new way to think about blocks; I try not to force it, just go with the flow of when my open heart has something to say. Other times, to just wait, make some notes about the details of life, until I am good and ready………
- that would require a certain amount of patience. not something I’d put on my CV…
