broken angel

broken angel
you’ll never see her cry
as she stumbles over rocky ground
while heavy air makes it hard to breath
and tattered wings fear flying again
shame at history past
destined to last until
destinys past
with every breath she fakes
serenity
you’ll never see her cry
as she wonders why
you took her
when she turned to you
to help her fly
and fcked a lifesized hole in her soul
shattering her dreams of humanity
and left her to learn
to fly all over again
wondering if bleeding wings
will ever fly again
but
you’ll never see her cry

It leaves you wishing she would cry, but with such a rocky road to traverse and in such heavy air she is in too much of a survival struggle.

    exactly right.

  3. What pain, but beautiful pain, does that sound weird? Sometimes, pain is beautiful in how it is depicted, no matter how it feels inside……. tragedy and beauty in the same moment….

not weird at all. thank you vee

  4. Such a concept…in the cataclysm what would count…true concentration of emotion..” shattering her dreams of humanity “…beautifully wrenched and eloquently summarised
